The European subsidiary of bitFlyer, one of the largest Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges,has integrated PayPal deposits to their platforms. The official announcement calls bitFlyer’s integration with the internet payment giant a significant move in bridging the gap between the fiat and cryptocurrency world for European users. While bitFlyer Europe already supports wire card transfers, it takes between one to three days for clearance. The integration of PayPal is expected to make deposits almost instant.

The legal representatives of technology company Nvidia have argued that its investors are not entitled to access its internal records about the “crypto craze” of 2017 and 2018. During a trial in the United States' Delaware Court of Chancery on Sept. 17, Nvidia's counsel argued that the plaintiffs have failed to show a “credible basis” for why Nvidia should be compelled to hand over the requested company documents.
Police summon Bithumb chairman for questioning over alleged fraud
The drama over alleged fraud involving Bithumb’s senior executives continues as the company’s chairman has reportedly been summoned for interrogation. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is purportedly seeking to question Lee Jung-hoon, chairman of board at Bithumb Korea and Bithumb Holdings, according to a Sept. 18 report by South Korea’s state-run news agency Yonhap.
Italian soccer club SS Lazio goes crypto with StormGain exchange
Another major soccer club is entering the cryptocurrency industry by tapping a partnership with a cryptocurrency exchange. SS Lazio, an Italian professional sports club, signed a multiyear deal with crypto trading platform StormGain. Announcing the news on Wednesday, StormGain said that it is now the “official crypto trading partner” of SS Lazio. According to the firm, the newly announced deal will enable StormGain and Lazio to boost fan engagement through unique giveaways like exclusive VIP suite hospitality at Lazio home matches.
Binance’s crypto Visa card is now available all across EEA countries
The world’s largest exchange, Binance, has officially announced that its cryptocurrency debit card is now available in Europe. According to a Sept. 15 blog post, the Binance Visa Card is now available to everyone in the European Economic Area, or EEA, countries. To celebrate the launch in Europe, Binance is offering up to 7% cashback from purchases with the card. According to the firm, this is the highest cashback rate available in the market to date.

BitPay decides to let all employees work from home permanently
Bitcoin (BTC) payment and wallet company BitPay has chosen to take its company's working atmosphere remote, permanently. A poll from within the company revealed: "85% of employees preferred to work from home and felt they were more productive," said a Sept. 15 statement. "This insight coupled with the continuation in business, is a main reason the company chose to make working from home permanent."

Apple forces Coinbase to change its crypto products, says CEO
Brian Armstrong, the CEO of United States cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, alleges that Apple is stifling innovation in crypto and sidelining DeFi to protect itself from competition. In a Twitter thread published on Sept. 11, Armstrong doubled down on his earlier claims that Apple continues to block some functionalities for cryptocurrency developers. The CEO alleged that other cryptocurrency firms are “reluctant to speak out on these topics for fear of retaliation,” but that he feels the need to speak out as Coinbase has exhausted regular channels for dialog with Apple and has reached a “dead end.”
